A week full of appointments for all tastes. Sports tournaments, popular games, the egg fry, the cucaña and many more events fill the streets these days.
Undoubtedly the queen of all appointments is La Caldereta, declared a Festival of Regional Tourist Interest, a dinner in the Plaza Mayor, based on the famous beef stew served on a piece of bread, whose secret recipe is only known by the chef of the Association of the same name in charge of preparing it as it has been doing since time immemorial.
The festivities are celebrated in the first days of September, with the 8th being the Patron Saint’s Day, the Virgen de la Encina.
