In Hoyo de Manzanares we have La Cabilda and El Berzalejo Recreational Areas, two perfect spaces for your picnic where you will find outdoor tables, drinking fountains and swings for the little ones.
What you have to bring
The Recreational Areas do not have a beach bar, so we recommend you stop in the town of Hoyo de Manzanares to buy the food and drink you need. In Hoyo you will find supermarkets, shops and prepared food establishments, open on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, where you will find food of all kinds for your perfect picnic: sandwiches, paellas, tortillas, homemade croquettes, roast chickens and even cooked. You choose.
It is important to carry garbage bags. Remember that you are in a protected natural environment and that when you leave you should not leave any trace of your visit. Deposit these bags in the containers located outside the Recreational Areas.
School visits
If you belong to the educational community and you are thinking of taking a field trip with your school or class, to visit our Recreational Areas you have to ask permission from the Department of the Environment of the Hoyo de Manzanares City Council. Contact to arrange with them the date of your visit and the number of students.
